Angela Malone is a painter, poet and novelist. Her paintings and poems illuminate her continuing encounters with the natural world through moments of sustained observation and attention in the landscape.

She has been shortlisted for various painting and writing prizes, including the NSW Premier's Literary Award for fiction in 2001 and her work is represented in public and private collections throughout Australia.

 

Malone had her first solo show, Winter Paintings at the Bathurst Regional Gallery in 2020.
