Tony Slater studied at the Royal College of Art, London in the early sixties and has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows in London and Europe.

His work was selected as a finalist in the Sulman Prize at the Art Gallery of NSW on three occasions and is held in important private collections in Europe, USA, Australia and Hong Kong.
